Spreading the cost

Most salon owners don’t buy a machine outright, and there’s no reason you should feel you ought to. Spreading the cost over a fixed monthly payment means the treatment can start earning while it’s still being paid for.

That said, it isn’t always the right call — and if we don’t think it is, we’ll tell you.

What it costs, and what it could earn

Every figure below is yours to change. Put in your own prices, your own client numbers and your own running costs, because ours are only a starting point — what you charge in your town is not what someone charges two counties away.

It starts on the Contour Tri-Pro at a four-year term, which is the example in our brochure.

Not a quote and not an APR. A flat rate charges interest on the whole amount financed for the whole term, so the equivalent APR is noticeably higher. Your actual rate is set by the lender.

The important small print

  • This is an illustration, not a quote. It is not an offer of finance, and it is not financial advice. Nothing here commits either of us to anything.
  • The rate shown is a flat rate, not an APR. Interest is calculated on the full amount financed for the whole term, so the equivalent APR is higher than the figure shown. Your actual rate is set by the lender, not by us.
  • We do not make the lending decision. Finance is arranged through a third-party finance provider who assesses every application on its own merits. Approval is never guaranteed, and applications can be declined.
  • Finance is for UK business customers only and is not available to private individuals. It is subject to status and credit approval.
  • Documentation fees may apply, a deposit or advance rental may be required, and in some cases a personal guarantee may be requested. Full terms are confirmed during the application.
  • Failure to keep up repayments may result in the equipment being repossessed.
  • The earnings figures are illustrative and are not a guarantee of earnings. What you actually take depends on your pricing, your location, your marketing, your capacity and demand in your area. Estimated running costs exclude staffing, rent and premises.
  • VAT treatment depends on your own circumstances. Capital equipment purchases may qualify for tax relief such as the Annual Investment Allowance, but that depends on your circumstances — always speak to your accountant.
  • Machine prices vary by specification, location and what you already have. Figures are correct at the time of publication. Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE).

The default figures shown are based on the Contour Tri-Pro, a 3-in-1 diode laser, ND:YAG and OPT IPL system, and on a full body laser hair removal course. Hair removal is one of three treatment types the Tri-Pro offers.

How it works

Step by step, with no surprises

1

We talk it through

What you’d like to offer, what the machine costs, and what a monthly figure would realistically look like against your diary.

2

We introduce you to the finance partner

They are FCA-regulated, and they make the lending decision — not us. We can’t approve anything, and any supplier who talks as though they can is worth being careful with.

3

They assess the application

Trading history and filed accounts are the usual things they look at. Applications are considered on their own merits and can be declined.

4

If it is approved, we get on with it

Delivery, installation and training — the practical part, arranged around your diary rather than ours.

Before you apply

What lenders usually want to see

Trading history, accounts, and how long the business has been going. A newer business isn’t automatically ruled out, but the overall picture matters.

We mention this because knowing it in advance saves you a wasted application and the disappointment that comes with it. Finance is for UK business customers only and is not available to private individuals. Documentation fees may apply, a deposit or advance rental may be required, and in some cases a personal guarantee may be requested.

What we won’t do

×Quote you a rate

We’re not the lender and we don’t set it. The calculator above is a planning tool — an illustration, not an offer, and the rate in it is one you can change yourself.

×Suggest approval is a formality

It isn’t. The finance partner makes the lending decision, not us, and applications are considered on their own merits.

×Advertise “0% finance” or “no credit checks”

You won’t see those claims here, because neither would be honest.

What we will do is sit with you and your real numbers for as long as it takes, in plain English, with no pressure and no clock running. Most owners tell us that conversation is the moment finance stopped feeling daunting.

Let’s talk it through properly

A calculator can only tell you so much. Twenty minutes on the phone, with your real prices and your real diary in front of you, will tell you a great deal more — including whether the timing is right at all.
