Certificated manufacturer training on your specific device, for up to five of your team, delivered in your own clinic on live models. Theory and practical, taught by a British Medical Laser Association member.
Five people rather than one, because a machine only you can operate stops earning every time you are not there.
Answers: am I qualified to offer this?
An Ofqual-regulated VTCT qualification, matched to your machine and delivered by SKIN13 Training Academy. This is the part insurers and local authorities ask about, and the part a certificate of attendance does not cover.

A one-to-one strategy call, a six-month plan and a launch blueprint with beauty business coach Katie Godfrey.
Performing a treatment well and filling a diary with it are two different skills, and nobody teaches the second one when they sell you equipment.
Plus the safety course. A CPD-accredited online Laser Core of Knowledge course covering laser safety, the physics of how light behaves on skin, and UK legislation. It can be completed before your machine arrives, so nobody is waiting around once it is in the room.
England’s licensing framework for non-surgical cosmetic procedures reached a formal consultation response in August 2025. The proposal groups procedures by risk, with requirements on both the person performing the treatment and the premises they work in.
What follows sensibly from that is this: accredited qualifications stop being a nice extra and start being the thing that lets you operate. If you are buying a machine now, it is worth asking every supplier exactly what training comes with it — and whether it leads to a qualification or just a certificate.

The online modules can be repeated for a new starter so they are useful quickly, and we will talk through options for getting them onto the practical training too.
