Every machine we supply includes an Ofqual-regulated VTCT qualification, delivered by our training partner SKIN13 Training Academy, and matched to the machine you are buying.

VTCT is an Ofqual-regulated awarding body. That means the qualification is externally assessed and recognised well beyond the company that sold you the machine.
A certificate of attendance records that you were in a room on a particular day, and it means whatever the company issuing it decides it means. The two can look similar in a brochure. They are not the same thing.
Our training partner, run by Chelsea Dugdale. Courses cover laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, facial electrotherapy, micro-needling and skin analysis.
Teaching is hands-on and clinic-based rather than theory alone, and SKIN13 also runs OFQUAL courses and an elite laser programme beyond the qualification included with your machine.
If you already hold the matching qualification you are not paying for it twice. You take a SKIN13 masterclass instead.
Each one is tailored to your clinic rather than a fixed syllabus — you choose the areas you or your team want to sharpen up.
The qualification is matched to the machine, because the training has to be for the treatment you are actually going to offer. Laser and IPL sit in the higher-risk group, which is why those machines carry a Level 4.

The qualification included with the machine covers one person. Additional places on a VTCT course can be arranged through SKIN13 — ask us and we will get you a price. Note that the machine training is a separate thing and does cover up to five of your team at no cost.
The online modules can be repeated for a new starter, so they are not waiting for a trainer to be free before they can be useful. Talk to us about additional practical training if you take on several people at once.
